OUR STORY

Founded in 2022, Adwoa the Label started as an idea with the desire to represent the growing woman. Our brand is named after the ultimate Adwoa, my mother. A bold, beautiful Ghanaian woman who could silence a room without saying a word. She raised me on stories—woven into fabrics, braided into hair, and whispered through late-night Ghallywood movies on scratchy vhs tapes.

Adwoa the Label is a love letter to her. To all the women who came before us and made beauty look effortless. Our pieces are for the women who know they don’t need to shout to be heard - they only need to enter the room. We craft kaftans and waistbeads, inspired by that old-school Ghallywood glam—the gold, the drama, the soul.

Every piece is handmade in Ghana, supporting local women and artisans. When you wear Adwoa the Label, you carry a piece of Ghana with you.
